Description:
It is classified as Group III, type 3a2. Horseman of finer style, short busy tail, cloak like arrowhead behind shoulder, no ground below. This bust puncheon is rarely seen and was later to be used on the Provincial issue at Aberystwyth. S2777 (2773 var.).This is from the Tower Mint under the King and has the Star mintmark (over Triangle obverse).
