Description:
2 Zlote Y#680 8.1500 g., Brass, 27 mm. Subject: General Elections of 1989 Obv: Image of the Eagle established as the State Emblem of the Republic of Poland, at the sides of the Eagle the notation of the year of issue, 20-09, underneath the Eagle, an inscription, ZŁ 2 ZŁ, in the rim an inscription: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA, preceded and followed by six pearls. The Mint’s mark under the Eagle’s left leg: M/W Rev: A stylized image of a fragment of the conference hall of the Round Table talks with people inside. In the centre, a stylized image of a calendar page. On the page, an inscription, WYBORY/4/CZERWCA/1989. At the top, an inscription, OKRĄGŁY STÓŁ. At the bottom, a semicircular inscription, 6 LUTEGO – 5 KWIETNIA. Edge: An inscription, NBP, eight times repeated, every second one inverted by 180 degrees, separated by stars.
