Absolutely superlative 1850 Young Head half crown. Mintage only 485,000. Most likely finest known. Graded NGC MS67! Next finest at NGC is MS65. Highest graded at PCGS is MS62. Rare date in any condition, and excessively rare in gem uncirculated. I would hazard a guess that this is the finest known business strike (non-proof) of any young head half crown in existence. Finding any young head halfcrown in uncirculated is difficult even for the high mintage dates of 1844, 1845, 1846 (over 1,000,000 to 2,500,000).
