Alexander III (1249-1286), Penny (1.33g., 19mm; Second Coinage). Obv: Crowned head left; sceptre before. Rev: Voided long cross; mullets of six points and stars of seven points in quarters. Good VF, toned. (Burns 38 (fig. 170); SCBI 35 (Ashmolean & Hunterian), 278; cf. SCBC 5056.)
