Silver jeton issued for Monsieur Daminois, Doyen de Chatelet in 1747. Obverse his coat of arms / reverse a beautiful view of Le Chatelet and Notre Dame. My most recent addition to this particular series of jetons. Interestingly, the issue was delayed until 1749 when the new reverse dies were introduced. This reverse became common to all issues after that date. Nice (and scarce)in this grade.
