Description:
50 Litas KM#181 Coin to commemorate the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Grunwald Silver Ag 925 Quality proof Diameter 38.61 mm Weight 28.28 g. The obverse of the coins features a seal of the head of the state of that time encircled with the inscriptions LIETUVA (Lithuania), the year of issue 2010, and the inscription of the denomination 50 LITŲ (50 litas). The reverse of the coins features scenes from the Battle of Grunwald that are revealed by the infantrymen clothing, armour and weapons typical of that time. The inscriptions ŽALGIRIO MŪŠIS (The Battle of Grunwald) and 1410-2010 are arranged in a semi-circle. On the edge of the coin: stylised 15th c.spearheads Designed by Rytas Jonas Belevicius Mintage 10,000 pcs The coin was minted at the UAB Lithuanian Mint. Issued June 29, 2010
