| New half sovereign with prominent die flaw on obverse, plus a surprisingly high number of pits and depressions. This suggests that particles of swarf or other debris may have come between the dies and blanks during striking, inndicating poor quality control during production. We found this flaw just after we sent out our first batch of orders. |
