| This is a 1905s STRAIGHT SERIF variety. Near the end of the mintage year, a new dye was introduced, which had a STRAIGHT bottom-line on the 1 in the date, instead of the more common Curved bottom on the 1, making this one MUCH more RARE! FACT: Silver is on the rise and has TRADITIONALLY outpaced Gold in percentage of gains in value. |
