| Draped Bust Half Dime. V-2, LM-3, R.4. LIBEKTY variety. The R in LIBERTY is open at the top, which makes the letter resemble a crude K. Natural gray and gun-metel blue toning adheres to both sides. The obverse shows a rather sharp strike along with a few scattered scratches. The reverse is less uniformly struck, with localized weakness near the center. Each side is nicely centered and the surfaces are virtually devoid of any significant marks. |
