So-called Bleyensteinse duit.  Actually a token, minted in Frankfurt (using a generic design) and imported to the Netherlands, where copper coinage was scarce.  Bleyenstein, an Utrecht grocer, was one merchant to bring the tokens into circulation.  When he refused to accept them as payment in 1821, locals looted his house in protest.  Or so the story goes.
