'Sheng-pao'. 4.1g, Brass, 23.24mm. The Taiping forces swept northward in the spring of 1852 and by March of 1853 had taken Nanking, which became the 'Celestial Capital'. Hung had committed suicide on June 1864. This is common cast, but scarce in this top extra fine condition. |
