| The 2008 gold crowns from the Isle of Man feature a Burmilla cat and her kitten as their reverse design. It was only in 1983 that the Burmilla Cat was recognised as an independent breed and was actually only bred through a chance mating between a Burmese and a Chinchilla in 1981. |
