| Yet another unofficial 'pattern crown' of Edward VIII, this one in 9ct gold, is dated 1987, which has no relevance to Edward, except that on 3rd April 1987, the 'Windsor Jewels' were sold at auction. We guess these medallions were produced to cash in on demand. |
