| SULTAN HASHIM 1304h 1 CENT Minted in Birmingham without British Colonial consent. Resulted in the Sultan being forced to issue a proclomation that all foreign currency ceased to be used in circulation (including the Bruneian 1 cent) and the Straits Setllements Coinage to be adopted for use instead. I have a soft spot for this coin and own several. I try to acquire them when I can. This example has probably been cleaned. |
