The obverse alloy feature a stylized basketball ball and Vytis, the symbol of the state emblem of the Republic of Lithuania, an inscription LIETUVA (Lithuania), the inscription of the denomination – accordingly, 50 LITŲ (50 litas) or 1 LITAS (1 litas), and the year of issue 2011. The reverse alloy feature a stylized basketball ball and an inscription 2011 EUROPOS KREPŠINIO ČEMPIONATAS (The European Basketball Championship 2011).
