The obverse  alloy feature a stylized basketball ball and Vytis, the symbol of the state emblem of the Republic of Lithuania, an inscription LIETUVA (Lithuania), the inscription of the denomination – accordingly, 50 LITŲ (50 litas) or 1 LITAS (1 litas), and the year of issue 2011. The reverse alloy feature a stylized basketball ball and an inscription 2011 EUROPOS KREPŠINIO ČEMPIONATAS (The European Basketball Championship 2011). Designed by Liudas Parulskis ir Giedrius Paulauskis. Mintage 5,000 pcs. Issue 21.06.2011. The coin was minted at the UAB Lithuanian Mint.
