Issued by the Transvaal & Orange Free State Chamber of Mines, which changed its name in 1968 to Chamber of Mines of South Africa, and it is the C of M that issued krugerrands. The medallion contains a troy ounce of .996 fine gold, and has a pair of springbok on one side.
