Two Maklouf portraits. Raphael Maklouf kindly posed for a photograph at the recent World Money Fair, February 2008, in Berlin, Germany. Raphael was born in Jerusalem in 1937. The portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, used from 1985 to 1997 on British coins, is probably his best known work. We have shown the condition as 'proof', but Raphael is now showing some slight signs of wear.
